As we kick off 2026, Neil Carson, Yellowbrick CEO, and I have been spending a lot of time with customers and a lot of time with our engineering teams – listening, learning, and shaping what’s next for enterprise analytics. I wanted to share a quick company and product update below.
We’re still here to help enterprises run their most important analytic and BI workloads with the performance, governance, and operational control they need—on-premises and in the public cloud. The Enterprise Data Warehouse is business-critical and we continue to invest in making Yellowbrick the most practical path to faster outcomes, simpler operations and predictable cost.
At the same time, we’re building what’s next and you might not even know you need it yet. Neil and a group of some of our top engineers have started Floe, online at floedb.ai. Floe brings data warehouse-grade SQL to the lakehouse for both human and AI (agentic) workloads. Please follow us on LinkedIn.
Team Yellowbrick has hit the ground running and 2026 will be a big year for product releases.
- January: We released Yellowbrick 7.4.1, running on the Yellowbrick Andromeda Appliance as well as across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It includes meaningful improvements in reliability, observability, extensibility, and performance. It also includes H3-based geospatial indexing and optimized spatial joins for faster proximity searches, regional aggregations, and location-based analytics at scale.
- This spring: We’ll complete our generic Kubernetes release. Customers are already preparing to run on their private cloud K8s clusters, and we’re excited to bring Yellowbrick’s cloud-native architecture into their own data centers, running on the platforms of their choice.
- Mid-year: We’ll formally launch Yellowbrick on Dell hardware with Red Hat OpenShift: a validated reference architecture that offers multiple deployment options using Dell as the hardware vendor of choice.
Yellowbrick solves today’s enterprise data warehouse needs, while Floe is building what comes next. Together, they help customers complete their transitions toward lakehouse architectures and move business-critical analytics and BI workloads with confidence. Yellowbrick is uniquely positioned to support all enterprise data warehouse needs: turnkey, purpose-built appliances, cloud-native on-premises deployments, and seamless operation in public clouds.
None of this happens without the continued partnership, trust and collaboration of our customers, the determination and talent of our employees, and the support of our investors. Thank you. We’re quite excited and energized, and we’re just getting started!
