We are excited to announce the launch of new data warehouse and workload analytics capabilities that make our platform easier to use, deliver faster insights, strengthen governance, and simplify AI adoption without compromising security.
What We Are Launching:
- Text-to-SQL (Ask TK): Integrated directly into Yellowbrick Manager, SQL developers can ask questions of their data in plain English and generate the equivalent SQL instantly from an LLM.
- Uses RBAC-based governance and sample-limited data exposure.
- Bring Your Own LLM (BYO LLM): Connect to trusted private LLMs (onpremises or private cloud), or cloud services from OpenAI and others, while keeping full control of your data.
- Vector Datastore for RAG applications: High-performance SQL vector search, enabling Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) without a separate vector database. AI applications can instantly pull company-specific context for better answers, while your team continues to use familiar SQL tools.
- Telemetry and Monitoring: New observability framework powered by Prometheus for deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP, with improved monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting.
- Developer SQL capabilities:
- SQL Unload: Export data directly from Yellowbrick to external object storage (e.g., S3, Azure Blob) with UNLOAD TABLE SQL command.
- Sample SQL: Enables randomized or deterministic row sampling from a table based on percentage or row count.
